Howdy

Between you & me I’m pretty happy that this weekend is going to be a fairly quiet one. We were due a visit from Marty, mum & Dad’s friend’s Border Collie. But he can’t make it now. He stayed with us the other weekend, both days, when we met him for the first time. Don’t get me wrong, I actually like him. I reckon we could become good pals in fact. He’s a bit younger than me and Red so loves to play and stuff. And I do actually love hanging out with other dogs, especially my pals on my daytime walks.

But when they stay in your own house it’s a bit more manic so I get less time for my precious dog naps. Plus there’s less treats and cuddles to go around! Also Red gets on her high horse when any other dog visits because she has to be ‘top dog’ – she’s such a Bitch. Haha, see what I did there? I just told Marty to just go with it, Red’s lovely really but she’s like a big sister, has to be in charge ;).

Here’s a couple of pics of Marty. He’s good fun & we’re still hoping to meet up for walkies again soon so it will be nice to see him (for a bit!).

Phew that was a hot one yesterday! I don’t know about you but I don’t like it when it’s too hot. Luckily I LOVE water, especially big puddles that I can lie down in. I particularly like jumping in those water troughs than you see in fields…I hope the cows don’t mind sharing 😉

Mum also gives us ice cubes which are quite nice but nothing beats a good dip to cool off.

I’ve posted a couple of my favourite snaps of me & Red having fun in the water.ImageImage
